Dr Mike Hopkins
Chief Executive Officer
Mike has a PhD in Finance and MBA and has worked in consulting, educational and marketing roles in Auckland, Bristol, London and Sydney. He is committed to helping members raise their abilities and to helping New Zealand businesses access expertise and knowledge in their pursuit of efficiency and lowering emissions.
Outside the office, Mike is a reluctant DIY-er, hedge-trimmer and lawn-mower, with a soft spot for native wildlife.

Accounts and Operations Coordinator
Our Accounts and Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. This varied position encompasses accounts and membership administration, coordination of events and training sessions, administration of CEP’s certification scheme, maintenance of governance records, and a wide range of operational and administrative support functions.

Philip Le Quesne
Partnership and Engagement Manager
Philip joined us in 2022 to develop the Carbon Auditor and GHG certifications.
This year Philip is here to support and grow our network of corporate partners, sponsors and exhibitors; particularly in the run up to our annual conference. Philip comes with a background in engineering, IT, banking, project management, central and local government.
