The EMANZ Energy Auditing Programme provides a series of information and advice to members and the general public on energy auditing.  EMANZ is dedicated to ensuring high standards of expertise in energy management and energy efficiency related services are available to industry, commerce and the public of New Zealand.

The Programme:

• Has a dedicated Focus Group of sector experts.
• Recognizes that professionals are undertaking energy audits in New Zealand. 

In Energy Auditing, EMANZ sees its role as the follows:

• Providing advice and information to all types of energy auditing professionals
• Providing energy learning opportunities to all types of energy auditing professionals
• Development of appropriate ‘classes’ of competency to suit a range of energy auditing professionals,
• Maintenance of high quality energy auditing standards and practices to cover all types and levels of audits.
• Delivery of appropriate and up-to-date energy advice to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors through energy auditing professionals.
• Undertaking Quality Assurance checking to ensure high standards and the delivery and implementation of appropriate advice and information.
