Energy Audit Focus Group PDF Print E-mail

The EMANZ Energy Audit Group was established to create a forum for discussions on energy auditing in New Zealand.  The Group provides leadership and advice to the Executive Officer on the Energy Auditor Accreditation Scheme and maintains a watching brief on auditing issues both nationally and internationally.  The Group's aim is to ensure that New Zealand has a thriving energy auditing sector with auditors that deliver high quality work to clients.

This Group works closely with EECA to monitor energy audits carried out every year.  Currently the focus of the Group is large scale auditing - Commercial and Industrial - but activities on the development of training courses will also cover residential audits.  EMANZ's Energy Auditing Programme currently has one main 'Audit Class' - Accredited Energy Auditor.  New classes are currently being considered.

Group Vision: To establish EMANZ as the key source of information, expertise and resources on energy auditing.
